Pediatric Dentist
Todd Asarch, DDS
Dr. Todd Asarch, DDS, grew up watching his father practice pediatric dentistry and always dreamt of following in his footsteps. He has a passion for working with children and is known for his gentle and caring approach.

Dr. Todd earned his dental degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston and completed his pediatric dental training at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha. He has over 25 years of experience providing safe dental sedation and treatment for children. Dr. Todd is proud to be a member of both the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the American Dental Association. He has two children, Connor (24) and Paige (21) and a wonderful wife and partner, Kasey. Aside from spending time with his family and two dogs, Dr. Todd enjoys playing golf, traveling, and staying fit through regular workouts. His mission is to ensure that every child and their family has a comfortable and stress-free dental experience.

Anesthesiologist
Sal Hemani, MD
Dr. Sal Hemani is a board-certified anesthesiologist from Dalton, Georgia. He completed his undergraduate studies at Emory University and attended medical school at Morehouse School of Medicine. After an internship in general surgery at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, he returned to the South to complete his anesthesiology residency and a fellowship in interventional pain management at Emory University.

Dr. Hemani specializes in pediatric dental sedation, working with pediatric dentists to provide extensive dental care to underserved populations in Georgia.

Anesthesiologist
Stan Plavin, MD
Dr. Stan Plavin is a residency-trained Physician Anesthesiologist with over 20 years of experience in sedation and general anesthesia across hospitals, outpatient centers, and dental offices. He attended McGill University, the University of Vermont College of Medicine, and completed his residency in Anesthesiology at Emory University Affiliated Hospitals.

Dr. Plavin holds certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS, and is affiliated with several professional organizations, including the American Society of Dentist Anesthesiologists, the American Society of Anesthesiologists, the International Anesthesia Research Society, and the Society for Ambulatory Anesthesia.

Dr. Plavin is active in the Atlanta community, enjoys sports, travel, and music, and is committed to organized medicine and anesthesiology at various levels. He lives in Atlanta with his two children.

Anesthesiologist
Gwendell Thompson, MD
Dr. Gwendell Thompson, with 29 years of anesthesia experience, specializes in ambulatory and hospital-based anesthesia. She moved her practice from Dallas/Fort Worth to Atlanta in 2019, focusing on office-based and ambulatory anesthesia.

Dr. Thompson earned her medical degree from Texas A&M University Health Science Center and completed her anesthesia residency at Baylor College of Medicine. She is board-certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology and holds PALS and ACLS certifications.

She is an active member of the American Society of Anesthesiology, Georgia Society of Anesthesiology, Atlanta Medical Association, and the Society for Ambulatory Anesthesia.

Dr. Thompson enjoys family time, travel, and outdoor activities like hiking. She is licensed to practice in Georgia and Texas.

Anesthesiologist
Andy Truong, MD
Dr. Andy Truong is a double board-certified anesthesiologist specializing in pediatric dental sedation. He completed his anesthesiology residency at the Medical College of Georgia and a fellowship in Chronic and Interventional Pain Management at the University of New York at Buffalo. Dr. Truong adopts a multi-modal, multi-disciplinary approach to anesthesiology and pain medicine. He is dedicated to serving underserved communities, collaborating with pediatric dentists to provide essential restorative dental care to children lacking adequate access to dental services.
